Ecor FPO sheets
ECOR FPO Wrap material has numerous advantages. It has a good dead fold properties, it is water resistant, which keeps the products fresh and aesthetically pleasant. It also has very good properties, when it comes to transfer of light and steam, especially in comparison with polyethylene with high and low densities and polypropylene.
It is a barrier for steam, which is better than any other polyolefin material.
Plasticity and material sensitivity may be used to shape the Wrap in any way, in accordance with the requirements related to the packed product. The material is particularly suitable for manufacturing flexible packaging usable for creating packages for butter, cottage cheese and confectionery products.
Many food manufacturers prefer the ECOR FPO material, due to the fact that it is environment-friendly and reasonably priced.
Percentage-wise, the individual ECOR FPO components include:
51.5 % of minerals (including: calcium, chalk, titanium dioxide)
and 48.5% of polyolefine. Titanium dioxide is used as a white colouring agent.
ECOR offers several types of the ECOR Wrap materials:
- classic, white or coloured (grey, yellow, blue),
- semi transparent, non transparent, with 100% light barrier.
When it comes to its composition, ECOR FPO material meets the European legal requirements including the relevant EU directives. It is also manufactured in line with the norms that are in force to the US. The material has been certified by the Polish National Hygiene Institute and the Unilever company. It also is a subject of any needed authorizations you may require.
ECOR FPO WRAP material is available in a variety of thickness variants, from 40 up to 250 microns.Efficiency of the standard 50 micron material is similar to the characteristics of laminates – within the range contained between 13 and 14 kg per tonne, which, along with the attractive price, 20% lower than one of the traditional laminates, makes the ECOR FPO material a well-rounded alternative for the materials that are present within the market.
ECOR FPO Wrap Material Sheets are utilized, above all in the fields of dairy, fat-processing, ice-cream and meat industries, mainly in order to create packaging for the products such as:
- extra butter,
- table butter,
- butterball butter,
- butter mixes,
- curds/cottage cheeses,
- fromage cheeses,
- ice cream,
- yeast,
- lard,
- minced meat.
It may also be recycled and used as a recyclable raw material.
